DocuTap, which occupies a large portion of The Plaza Building downtown Sioux Falls, has merged with one of its largest competitors, forming the new company, Experity. The newly combined company will continue its presence in downtown Sioux Falls.

85th Street interstate interchange slowly moves forward

A $20-million plus interstate interchange located at 85th street and I-29 is slowly picking up. Officials estimate beginning the project as early as 2021. The environmental assessment is underway, and then designs can be finalized to identify necessary land acquisitions.

New Townhome Project Announced for Des Moines

Fusion will be located in the Gray’s Station neighborhood of downtown Des Moines, just south of Linc Phase 2, and will bring a rental townhome concept to the master-planned neighborhood. The development will offer residents the market-leading amenity package that is shared with LINC I & II, but also the convenience and privacy of townhome-style living. This is the third and final project in the Hubbell Fund.

Tzadik Management Purchases Three Apartment Properties

We had an exciting few months of the new year, including the very successful sales of Parkside Commons, in the Dakotas Fund II and Willow Wood and Cleveland Heights apartments, both in the Dakotas Fund III. Tzadik Management, a Florida real estate and property management company purchased all three properties. All three of these sales produced investment returns that exceeded our expectations.

Construction on LINC at Gray’s Station in Des Moines, IA begins

Hubbell Realty Company has begun construction in Des Monies, IA. LINC I at Gray’s Station is the first component of the larger Gray’s Station neighborhood and is located on the prominent corner of MLK Jr. Parkway and SW 11th Street in downtown Des Moines. The first building will be five-stories and feature commercial space on the ground floor. This new development is in partnership with Hubbell Companies.

Downtown VUE Offering Closed: $3.25MM Raised

We’re pleased to announce that we closed fundraising for the Downtown VUE, LLC, raising $3,250,000 from investors across the Midwest.

Downtown VUE, LLC will feature 111 new apartments in the northern gateway of downtown Des Moines, IA. The buildings’ exterior features an edgy urban design that is walkable to area campuses. The sleek, stylish interior finishes will appeal to prospective downtown residents. The project will include one-, two- and three-bedroom units, which are larger than typically
found downtown to accommodate roommate situations. VUE’s location is well-placed among some of Des Moines’ most prominent employers and their campuses. To the northeast are
Mercy Medical Hospital & College and the Des Moines Area Community College downtown campus. Immediately to the south is the world headquarters of Principal Financial, currently undergoing a nearly $300 million renovation. The site is also near the riverfront, Wells Fargo Arena, Convention Hall & Hotel, and more.

VUE is the third project that Ernst Capital has partnered with Hubbell Realty Company, a leading developer and property management firm based in West Des Moines, IA.

Dawley Farm Village Development Continues

Dawley Farm Village continues to offer new and exciting properties. A second PetSmart location in Sioux Falls is anticipated to open in July.
