The $4 million pedestrian bridge that connects downtown Des Moines with Gray’s Lake is now open.  Hubbell Realty developed and built the bridge in just under a year and the city of Des Moines will soon own the bridge.

The location also overlooks the river and downtown. The Starbucks took over the former pool area in the hotel that Hegg reported was “underutilized and costly.”
